Grace & Kevin's Lamont Bishops House Wedding
Look at the colour of those dresses! They contrasted so beautifully against the woodland backdrop - this is one of my favourite photos from Grace and Kevin's big day.
After knowing each other since they were in grade four at school, this cute couple got married in February at one of my absolute favourite Perth wedding locations - Lamont's Bishop House.
It was the perfect place to host their classic wedding, styled with touches of vintage and rustic charm.
Grace told me that Kevin's proposal had started a little...unconventionally. He had gotten her a bracelet for Grace for their anniversary, but when it was too big and couldn't be resized, Kevin told Grace to pick out a ring instead. At the time, he intended to propose almost a year later but, instead, proposed after two months - he clearly couldn't wait to make this beautiful woman his wife, and I don't blame him!
Their wedding day was filled with the love and laughter of their family and friends. For Grace it was even more of a family affair with her niece and pregnant sister accompanying her down the aisle.
The bridesmaids did a wonderful job of preparing the bride on the day, each bringing a special gift for her when she was getting ready; something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. It is one of the time-honoured wedding traditions that still has such a prominent place in modern weddings and I think it's so special.
Grace and Kevin, I'm also wishing you both good luck and prosperity for your lives together. It was an honour to witness you commit your lives to each other.
